Small tree with a dense, narrow, ovoid crown, somewhat narrower than ‘Elsrijk’. Grows a straight central leader to produce a regularly formed crown. The dark green leaf is undulate and turns yellow to brownish yellow in autumn. It is a very healthy tree with good resistance to mildew, red spider mite and gall mite. The rather slender growth pattern makes ‘Eko Effen’ suitable for use in narrow streets, housing estates and green borders. However, the tree can also be used to create high hedges. Does not grow well enclosed by paved surfaces. Winter hardiness zone:
sugárutak és széles utcák, keskeny utcák, faültető edények, tetőkertek, tengerpart, ipari terület
