'Heaven Scent' is a small to medium-sized tree with a broad oval, later more rounded crown. The tree grows about 4 to 6 m tall and eventually almost as wide. The leaves of this deciduous cultivar are a healthy dark green. Narrow tulip-shaped flowers open in April, rising like broad candles on the twigs. The flowers are lilac-pink and reddish purplish pink towards the base. The flowers do not fall open, even when out of bloom. 'Heaven Scent' flowers very richly and already at a young age. This makes it a particularly striking Magnolia. Was introduced in the 1960s by American breeder Todd Gresham. Hardiness zone 6.
Magnolia 'Heaven Scent' can eventually reach a height of 4-6 m, depending on the site and climate conditions.
